Also within easy walking distance are the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre and the Ince’s Hall Theatre, two popular venues for the thriving performing arts scene in Gibraltar.

Travel

King’s Wharf is a 10-minute drive from Gibraltar International Airport for flights to various cities in UK including London, Manchester, Liverpool and Bristol. There are also direct flights to Morocco. The frontier with Spain and its open roads to the rest of Europe lie just beyond the airport.

The bus services are regular and include a night bus service for those wishing to linger in the South District or at the east side restaurants, The Gibraltar Taxi Association also runs a 24-hour service. For those who enjoy life on the waves, besides Queensway Quay Marina and Ocean Village Marina, King’s Wharf overlooks the small boat berths in Mid Harbours.
